Kindergarten-Grade 2-As a stowaway in a boy's model airplane, Sammy joins the family's sightseeing trip in Israel and uses his five senses to experience the country. The writing is bland; the introduction to the country, superficial; and just how the spider manages to snorkel with Josh is not at all clear. The colorful cut-paper illustrations are stronger than the text.
