He also held the Littauer Chair in Hebrew Literature and Jewish Philosophy at Harvard University. He was a unique person. He received a second M.A. degree in Jewish History from Harvard University under the tutelage of the Talner Rebbe, Prof. Yitzchak (Isadore) Twersky. He was a member of the faculty and then Principal of Maimonides School in Brookline, Massachusetts from 1970 until 2011. During that period, he was associated with the Rabbi Joseph B.
